BAUER Enters Low-pressure Market with BLP 3 Series Rotary Screw Air Compressors
BAUER COMPRESSORS has entered the low-pressure market with the launch of BLP? 3 series of rotary screw air compressors in 2026. This series delivers dependable compressed air for industrial, commercial and utility applications where consistent performance and long service life matter most. Units offer discharge pressures of 125-175 psig (9-12 bar) and max flow performance of 47-93 scfm.
Engineered with precision components and robust construction, this series was designed for continuous operation in harsh industrial environments and to provide an expected service life of 20–25 years with proper maintenance, resulting in one of the lowest total costs of ownership in its class.
The BLP 3 series features a complete package design that includes a heavy-duty base skid, sound-attenuated enclosure, stainless steel tubing, combination air/oil cooler and BAUER’s intuitive B-CONTROL? system. Optional tank and dryer modules can be seamlessly integrated to create a turnkey compressed air solution tailored to customer requirements. The optional tank module incorporates a rugged powder-coated steel receiver with integrated lifting and transport provisions, allowing the entire system to be safely moved with a pallet jack or forklift.
Every unit comes standard with BAUER CONNECT? IoT, providing secure 5G-enabled remote monitoring and real-time visibility into critical operating parameters, including system status, run hours, maintenance schedules, pressures, temperatures and filter condition. Historical operating data is stored for up to five years, while alarms and system notifications can be instantly delivered via push notifications, helping operators maximize uptime and proactively plan maintenance activities.
For applications requiring continuous air quality verification, the optional BAUER B-DETECTION? monitoring system provides real-time measurement of critical air quality parameters, including moisture content and volatile organic compounds. Fully integrated with both the B-CONTROL and BAUER CONNECT platforms, B-DETECTION can automatically alert operators, distributors and BAUER personnel whenever air quality parameters fall outside specified limits and can even stop air compressor operation to protect downstream equipment and processes.
